Visa requirements for Thailand
As an intern on our program, you’ll have personalized assistance through the process of applying for a visa. Our local team are experts in the different types of Thai visas, as well as the steps required to obtain them.
Visa requirements for Thailand:
All non-Thai citizens require a Non-immigrant Visa – type ED (Education) for the purpose of this internship program. Eligible individuals must:
- Be a current university student at the time of application, or a graduate with a bachelor degree;
- Stay and apply for the visa in a country where the Royal Thai Embassy has a consular services office (see directory: http://www.thaiembassy.org/main/).
Nigerian applicants must, in advance of applying for a visa, obtain Clearance Certificate issued by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (N.D.L.E.A) in Nigeria. For details, please inquire with the Royal Thai Embassy in Nigeria.
The Intern Group provides comprehensive guidance during the application process while applicants have to apply for the visa in person or by mail (whichever applicable) on their own. An ED visa typically costs 5,000 Thai Baht. The Intern Group program fee does not cover the visa fee and other associated expenses regarding the visa application.
